Prabudhdha Mahila Goshthi at Rajkot

Samvardhini aayam, Rajkot has organized  “Mahila Vichar Goshthi” for the Prabuddh Mahila. It was conducted on 29th March 2013, 10 to 12 noon at “Hemu Gadhavi Hall, Rajkot.”

karyakram was stared with 3 Omkar & prayer followed by the welcom and introduction of honorable guest on dias. The briefing of Swami Vivekananda 150th birth anniversary celebration and Samvardhini ayam was given. Honorable guest Ma.Nivedita Raghunath Bhide (Vice  president of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari) talked on “ प्रबुध्ध माहिला की सामाजीक जवाबदारीयाँ". The talk was followed by thought provoking question & answer. Program was concluded with a vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra in presences of 293 elite women of Rajkot region.

Samuhik Surya Namaskar at Ahmedabad

History was created on the morning of Monday 18th February when 32,337 students from 300 schools and colleges for a samuhik Suryanamaskar at the iconic Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. This Suryanamaskar event is a part of commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Samuhik Suryanamaskar was arranged under the many planned activities to be organized for Sardh Shati Mahotsav this year. The event was conducted at many places in country at same time. It was a success as many enthusiastic students took part in it.

Susri Nivedita Bhide-Vice President of the Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Shri Asit Vora- Ahmedabad Mayor, Dr. Kamlesh Upadhyay-Sah-Sanyojak, Sardhashati Samaroh Ayojan Samiti, Gujarat, Shri Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Minister for law and tourism; Gujarat State. With record 339 floats and participation of 12926 male and 4828 female, 7 km long Shobhayatra was witnessed by more than 3 lacs citizen of Vadodara,Gujarat.

Prominent religious priests from Swaminarayan,Gayatri,Brhmakumaries,Jalaram Temple,ISCKON and Vaishnavacharyas have graced the occasion,

Many schools,Faculties of Maharaja Sayajirao University,Organizations of Specially abled children,Vyayam Mandirs and Akhadas whole heartily participated in the Shobhayatra.

District Collector,Hon Mayor and senior officials of Govt and Municipal Corporation remained on the dais,

Service Organizations like INDU Blood Bank,Fire Brigade,NGOs took part with " SEVA" as motto of the Floats,

Eminent artists like Kamlesh Patel(Zee DID fame), Bhoomi Trevedi(Indian IDOL fame) were there to motivate the participants,

It was a musical bonanza supported by Police Band,Zenith School Band, 15 nasik bands and not less than 8 DJs performing Desbhakti Songs all the way,

Floats were very creative and had variety of subjects like live demonstrations of Chikago Dharma Parishad,Bhagini Nivedita School etc,

150 students from Urmi school were dressed as Swamiji and marched on route,

The lead vehicle had 7 ft x 8 ft Pratima of Swamiji and people performed Arti and Pooja on the route,

All electronic and print media did fantastic coverage of the event.

स्वामी विवेकानन्द सार्धशती के अवसर पर बड़ोदरा में बाना विश्व रिकार्ड

दिनांक 12 जनवरी को बड़ोदरा (गुजरात) के अकोटा स्टेडियम में स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्धशती के अवसर पर आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में बीआरजी ग्रुप द्वारा संचालित बीआरजी स्पोर्ट्स कल्चर एजुकेशन फोरम और उर्मि स्कूल - गुजरात पब्लिक स्कूल के 1600 विद्यार्थियों ने मानव मशाल की आकृति बनाई |  जिसमे छात्र स्वामी विवेकानंद की वेशभूषा में थे | मानव मशाल 186 फिट लम्बी और 54 फीट चौड़ी थी | वीर सेनानी विवेकानंद तुम्हे बुलाते है ,उठो जवान ........ के गीत की धुन पर यह मानव मशाल लगातार 15 मिनिट तक प्रज्वलित दिखाई दी | इस पूरे कार्यक्रम में ब्रिटेन से आये गिनीज बुक वलर्ड रिकार्ड के प्रतिनिधि रिचर्ड स्टेलिंग उपस्थित रहे |
