Shoba Yatra at Jagti Township, Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 12: To celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the inmates of Jagti township held a Shoba Yatra, which started from newly constructed Kher Bhawani Temple and culminated at Shive Ji Temple at Lane 11 at Jagti, near here today.

Thousands of people participated in the yatra, which included a large number of the residents of TRT Nagrota and Students of Naveen Public School Nagrota also.

The Yatra was led by Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Sansang Ashram and Margdarshan member of SVSSSS. Prof NK Dhar, convener Kashmir Chapter SVSSAS and TN Pandita, president Sanjeevani Shardha Kendriya Anand Nagar, Jammu and Sh R I Dhar from TRT Nagrota were also part of the grand Shoba Yatra. Sh R L Trakroo was the chief guest on the occasion.

The participants recalled the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, the foremost diciple of Sri Ramakrishana Paramahansa on the occasion, while Swami Ji threw light on the significance of the day.Sh Vijay Bhat coordinator of the event welcomed the guest while Sh Satish Koul  thanked the participants for making the Yatra a great success.
